Scripture text

All Scripture quotations are from the King James Version (KJV), also called the Authorized Version. The KJV is in the public domain in most of the world. In the United Kingdom, the text is held under Crown copyright and reprinted by permission of the Crown's patentee, Cambridge University Press. Outside the UK, the text is freely usable, and we use it accordingly.

Annotations

The verse-by-verse annotations, chapter summaries, outlines, key-doctrine notes, applications, and Christ-connection sections are original work written for this site. They were composed freshly from the Scripture itself and from the general stream of public-domain Christian theological knowledge — including the writings of figures such as Matthew Henry, Jamieson, Fausset, Brown, Spurgeon, Calvin, and the notes of the 1599 Geneva Bible, together with classical Greek and Hebrew lexical reference works in the public domain.

The annotations are not modeled on, paraphrased from, or matched point-for-point with any contemporary copyrighted commentary, study Bible, or annotated reference Bible. We claim no association with any branded study-Bible work.

Typography

Page text uses Cormorant Garamond, Fraunces, and Inter, served by Google Fonts. These typefaces are licensed under the SIL Open Font License.

Visual identity

The figures and walking scenes are original SVG illustrations drawn directly in code. No AI-generated images, video, or animations are used anywhere on this site.

Hosting

The site is served as static files from Cloudflare Pages. Page-view counts (if shown) come from Cloudflare's privacy-preserving, cookieless web analytics.
