Summary

पौलुस दर्शन की धोखेबाज़ी से चेताता है। मसीह में ईश्वरीयता की पूरी परिपूर्णता शारीरिक रूप से वास करती है, और तुम उसी में पूर्ण हो गए हो। उसने तुम्हें मसीह के साथ जिलाया।

16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Freedom from ceremonial legalism. The dietary laws, festivals, and sabbaths of the old covenant were a shadow of things to come (verse 17) — and the substance is Christ. Now that the substance has come, the shadows are no longer binding.

The believer is not to be judged or to judge others on these ceremonial matters. The Colossian legalists wanted to impose old-covenant observances; Paul declares them fulfilled in Christ and no longer obligatory.
