Psalms 99 — The Lord Our God Is Holy
Summary
The Lord reigneth; let the people tremble. Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy. The king's strength also loveth judgment. Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy. Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name. They called upon the Lord, and he answered them. Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.

Christ in this chapter
Christ is the Holy One (Acts 3:14). The thrice-holy God revealed in Isaiah 6 is the Christ John saw (John 12:41).

The thrice-holy psalm. Verses 3, 5, 9 each end with holy. The repetition is intentional.
A check on familiarity. He is holy. The closeness of relationship does not erase the holiness.
