Psalms 60 — Through God We Shall Do Valiantly
Summary
O God, thou hast cast us off. O turn thyself to us again. Thou hast shewed thy people hard things. Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

Verse 12 trains today's courage. Through God. Whatever requires valor, do it through Him. The result is honored both as His tread and your valiant action.

Vain is the help of man. The verse names the limit. Human help has a ceiling; God's does not.
A counsel against misplaced trust. Use the human helps, but expect divine help.
