Psalms 20 — Some Trust In Chariots, and Some In Horses; But We Will Remember the Name of the Lord
The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee. Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion. Grant thee according to thine own heart. We will rejoice in thy salvation. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.

Verse 7 examines your trust list. Where are your chariots and horses today? Bank account, network, intelligence? The verse does not condemn means; it names the deeper trust. Remember His name first.
The greater King — Christ — trusted not in chariots but in the Father. His cross looked like defeat; the resurrection vindicated the trust.
A contrast every age repeats. Chariots and horses — military, financial, technological might. The believer's confidence rests elsewhere.
Remember the name. The discipline. Recall what He has been and done; trust follows the memory.
