Micah 4 — They Shall Beat Their Swords Into Plowshares
In the last days the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains. Many nations shall come — Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord. He shall judge among many people. They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. They shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree. Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion.

The famous peace verse. Christ's reign produces a peace the nations could never produce themselves.
Neither shall they learn war any more. Even the curriculum of war ends. The most ingrained art of fallen humanity is forgotten.
Pray for the day verse 3 describes. Until then, be one of the many nations of verse 2 — go to the mountain of the Lord and walk in His paths. The peace He will bring globally begins individually.
The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6) is the One who finally turns swords into plowshares. The kingdom Micah glimpses is the kingdom Christ inaugurated and will consummate.
A vision of pilgrim nations. Gentiles will seek the God of Israel — the Great Commission anticipated.
He will teach us... we will walk. The two halves. Knowing and doing together; not curiosity but discipleship.
