Hosea 12 — Turn Thou to Thy God: Keep Mercy and Judgment
Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind. The Lord hath also a controversy with Judah. He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God: yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him. The Lord God of hosts; the Lord is his memorial. Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually. I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.

Verse 6 is a daily prayer. Turn, keep mercy and judgment, wait. Three motions that cover the Christian life. Do all three today.
Christ is the One to whom we turn, the One in whom mercy and judgment meet at the cross, the One whose return we wait for. The verse's three commands all converge on Him.
Three commands. Turn — repent. Keep mercy and judgment — live justly. Wait — trust.
The chapter's practical exhortation. The Jacob story (vv.3-5) ends in a personal call. Wrestle like Jacob; turn like he did.
