Psalms 62 — My Soul, Wait Thou Only Upon God
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. Trust in him at all times. God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy.

Pour out your heart. The verb is decanting — empty all the contents.
At all times. Not when convenient. The trust is constant; the pouring is whenever the heart fills.
Verse 8 invites the full disclosure. Pour out the heart — anger, fear, joy, grief. Hide nothing. He is a refuge for the contents.
Christ poured out His soul unto death (Isaiah 53:12). The chapter's practice is His perfect example.
Self-talk. My soul, wait thou only. The believer commands his own soul to focus.
Only. The exclusivity is decisive. Expectations divided among many sources scatter the soul.
