Psalms 11 — The Lord Is In His Holy Temple
In the Lord put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord's throne is in heaven. His eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked his soul hateth. For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

The answer to the previous verse. Foundations on earth may shake; the throne in heaven does not.
His eyes behold... his eyelids try. The penetrating gaze. The wicked's schemes happen in plain sight.
Verse 4 is the verse for the day the foundations look shaky. Whatever crumbles, the throne in heaven does not. Trust the unshaken One.
Christ sits at the right hand of the throne (Hebrews 1:3). The throne the psalm sees from below is the throne He shares with the Father.
The question every age of moral collapse asks. When the moral foundations crumble, what remains for the upright?
The next verse answers — The Lord is in his holy temple. The foundation above all foundations is unshaken.
