Psalms 77 — I Will Remember the Years of the Right Hand of the Most High
I cried unto God with my voice. In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord. Will the Lord cast off for ever? Hath God forgotten to be gracious? And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High. I will remember the works of the Lord. Thy way is in the sanctuary. Thou art the God that doest wonders.
“And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High. I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.”
— Psalm 77:10-11
- v.1-9 The dark questions
- v.10-20 Remembering God's works
Verse 11 trains the discipline of memory. When today is dark, list what He has done. The memory is the medicine.
The works of the Lord climax at the cross and empty tomb. The Christian's remembering centers on what Christ has done.

The pivot of the psalm. I will remember. The discipline of memory drags the soul out of present darkness.
A practice. List God's past works; remembering reshapes today's feelings.
