The Galilean village of Jesus's first miracle, turning water into wine at a wedding. Two sites compete for the honour: Kafr Kanna, the traditional pilgrimage village, and Khirbet Qana, an abandoned mound many archaeologists favour because of its first-century remains and the pilgrim routes that once led to it.
